La Prairie Silver Rain (Day 10)
La Prairie's Silver Rain is just one of those yummy floral scents that a lot of people are not wearing. I don't think that many people realize that La Prairie has a scent because they are really known for their caviar skin collection. I fell in love with the bottle more than the scent at first. I kept telling myself that the bottle needs to be on my dresser, I must have it. With notes of verbena flower, gardenia, tuberose blossom, patchouli and musk. It grew on me. But the bottle did it. As I lifted it up today I realized that Silver Rain is being washed away. After the requisite amount of pulse point sprays the bottle was empty. I tried not to be sad, but I was just a little. I thought about tossing the bottle, but I realized it was just too pretty to toss. It's empty, but still sitting on my dresser. Beauty is a terrible thing to waste.
Have a great day.
Book Club: Don't think I have forgotten about this month's book club choice, Third Girl from the Left. If you haven't read it, do so quickly. It's too good not to read in this lifetime. I read it in three days and wanted to weep when I put it down because I didn't want it to end. It's a literary powerhouse full of well crafted sentences, plot, and dialogue.

My friend Audra told me to use the bottle as a paperweight, which I plan to do.

Julia,
You're making me add to my already 30 plus fragrance collection. You're right, this bottle is too pretty, I'm gonna head to Neimans at lunch and test the fragrance.
I've finally finished Third Girl!:-0)
